It’s the Thursday review episode, and we have progressed one month to June of 2007, but…
June, 2007 had a huge amount of Superman books… exactly one. Superman Confidential #5 was the only Superman book published with that cover date.
No Joke. One in-continuity Superman comic.
But, “Krypton” ratchets to a breathless climax, and it all comes together, all at once.
So, it’s time to look at Tim Sale, and his work on Superman, Heroes, and more.
Then, we look at what was happening elsewhere in the DC Universe, before moving on to Early July 2007, where Superman confronts a “Crisis of Faith” and, will the real redemption please stand up, please stand up??
It all leads to next week’s look at Action Comics #850, Superman #663, and Superman/Batman #35.
And don’t forget to come back Sunday, when it’s time to take a look at the seminal Superman stories of Alan Moore– “For the Man Who Has Everything” and “Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow“, and the animated debut of Metallo in Superman: The Animated Series.
